Health and Safety Every precaution will be taken to provide health and safety measures at the center. Upon enrollment each child will have up-to-date immunization and a school physical signed by a physician. A note will be sent home when up-dates are needed. A child may be sent home if the following symptoms appear: Fever, persistent cough, runny nose, vomiting or diarrhea. This will be done to protect the rest of the children and staff. If we find it necessary to call, please respond promptly. The notarized "Emergency Release Form" must be completed yearly. In the event of any emergency, if the parent or individuals designated for emergencies cannot be reached, the director makes the decisions concerning the care of the child. Please be sure to have one entire change of clothes on case of spill or accident, and updated according to weather. In case of early dismissal or evacuation due to weather or crisis, please contact the school as soon as possible, and please make sure that all emergency phone numbers are kept up-to-date. Please dress your child in sneakers or soft soled shoes, dress shoes, sandals, and opened-toed shoes are discouraged, and are not suitable for play. Please no jewelry except for small earrings. Medications The Center will not administer medication without a "Medication Permission Form" filled out, and then only prescription medication will be given. No over the counter medicines will be given.
